House (FOX)
Synopsis
This is the story a selfish, drug addicted, and brilliant diagnostician who works cases who cannot find the answer themselves.
Review
Having watched this show a number of times and it is always an entertaining show to rewatch. Hugh Laurie is amazing in this show consistently and doesn't miss a beat the entire series. The supporting cast is really good until the end of the series where some of the new cast showed up, but they added some interesting dynamics to House's interpersonal skills.
The entire show takes place in the same setting and there really isn't any special effects or anything to review. The cases are super fun, and as I am not a doctor I have no idea if they are real or even possible.
My Rating
I give this a 9. It is a little long overall, but a solid series to watch and some great character growth and change throughout the series.
Parental Rating
There is very little language, violence, and sex. The real issue is the drug use as there is quite a bit of it. I think this is not in their realm of continued interest. If it were on, they'd watch it, but not by default. So approved by my dad, rejected by mom as it isn't family oriented.
