Synopsis

At a wedding, the last table is always the leftovers. Well this is the story of how leftovers are connected and can make sense of where they are.

Review

This is underrated film. I know people hate on Anna Kendrick films and I think that is because she really got started on Twilight which is what everyone hates in the movie world (Kind of like Nickelback in the music world), but she is excellent. She does an amazing job of playing Eloise, the best friend of the bride and ex to the best man trying to not make a scene while trying to move on from the relationship.

Craig Robinson and Lisa Kudrow do a good job, but Craig outshines the Friends Star and makes her look like a "B" rated actress. Ok I'll be honest, I can't stand her. She does a good job, but I think she plays the same character and in the same way, just like Michael B. Jordon plays an entitled brat in all of his films. This is why Craig is the star between the two as he plays a new character and is both funny and emotional.

Overall, the story is also really cute. Art is supposed to imitate life and life imitates art and this is art that is matching a messy relationship where people just don't know how to communicate and how text messages don't relay emotion so having a heavy conversation is better in person.

Also, according to my wife, this was the perfect length movie. 1 and a half hours.

My Rating

This is a solid movie. I really enjoy it. It is a easy 7 and honestly it is just too messy. There are some plot lines that didn't need to be there and honestly Nikki is a little too bitchy. Please go watch this movie as it is woefully underrated with underrated people.

Parental Rating

This is hard to rate for them as it is a very niche movie. There is a decent amount of language, sexual references, but it is a sweet story. I am going to say my dad disapproves as there is a lot of language with no real purpose for it. My mom can ignore the language for a good story and that is what she will like about it. Dad is out, mom is in.
