The Flash

Review

This movie deserves all the hate it can get. Was it entertaining, yes it was, but the CGI was so heavy it might as well have been a Japanese anime film.

The overall story is pointless. Nothing happens, all the lessons he "learns" he doesn't learn because he still meddles over and over again. However, I did enjoy the contained movie story enough that I didn't mind watching it on a plane.

The acting was weird. I don't know how else to say it. Ezra Miller playing 2 different people just didn't sit right. It was almost as if he was trying too hard to be both the "Elder" and the "kid." The characters they brought back and or introduced, while cool, I felt where there to say "hey we did it. We have our multiverse" and that is it. That is why it is there.

The DCEU is honestly a mess and I can't wait for it to be rebooted. It is awful and these last few movies are proof in point.

My Rating

It isn't good. Acting is single dementional and doesn't stand out. The new characters and story have no purpose overall based on the written items, not even that the whole series is being rebooted. It is just entertaining like any other made for TV movie for Disney might have been back in the day. A 6. I was entertained enough on the plane.

Parental Rating

There is nothing good about this movie that either my dad or mom would enjoy. The language is light, gore is zero with violence is cartoonish. There is no real family element. Based on the rules, Dad approves, but mom rejects, however you wouldn't catch them watching this TV movie at all.
