Synopsis

Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, and .... Captain Rambeau (No cool name yet) powers become entangled when they all touch different cosmic items and they must work to save Captain Marvel's homes.

Review

This movie was ok, but so full of plot holes that even to the most enamored, it doesn't make sense. The fight scenes are lazy and short, the story is half complete, and it just feels rushed and CGI heavy. Almost to the point that I am not sure they were even in the same place when filming the scenes they are together because of the heavy use of single person frames. Also, all 3 of them are infinitely powerful and the bad guy can't get hurt. No consequence to this at all.

What this movie does do well is allow Iman Vellani, Ms. Marvel, really to be a kid with these adults. Just like Spiderman in Civil War, snarky remarks, silliness, and putting one to the adults. My issue with her character is that based on the timeline, this takes place directly after the Ms. Marvel TV show in Disney +, which means she went from that show not knowing how to fight to being an awesome fighter within hours. That is stupid.

Overall, the acting is alright. It isn't good, it isn't bad. It is alright. The movie is entertaining though. It's fun. Nothing special overall, but it was fun.

My Rating

IMDB gives this a 5.9 and I think a 5 is right. The story serves no purpose overall expect to have more multiverse shenanigans. The story is half assed, the fights are style over substance. There are no real hits, no real concern that they will lose. Nothing. Tons of plot armor. I was entertained, but I am really glad I waited till it was digital.

Parental Rating

Hahaha. They won't watch this. However, based all the rules they both approve and disapprove. No language issues, violence is cartoony, no sex, and no gore. They would not find this entertaining though with the exception of maybe airplane movie, so I think it will be a disapprove.
