Synopsis
You are watching a group of deep sea drillers as a other worldly fog rolls in affecting communications, electronics, and people.
Review
A really unique story that I am not sure you would get in the US market by default. However, since it is something from the UK team of Amazon, it is well within reason to see.
Speaking of that, for most of the acting team being unknown to me with the exception of three [[Game of Thrones]] actors (two of whom are the reason I was interested in the show to begin with), I was really either impressed or could care less. I will say that they layering of stories that the acting team provided was really nice addition to the story and that is more about their skill rather than the writing itself.
The story is interesting, a little heavy handed at times for its political views, but overall something you can watch. I do appreciate the element of history and conspiracy from the alien that coincides with parts of earth's history that we really don't know much about.

My Rating
It is slow and was hard for me to watch multiple episodes at a time. This isn't binge worthy in my opinion, but I might be missing something from the UK side of entertainment. With that note, however, I did enjoy enough that I am looking forward to the next season just to see where the story goes. It'll be a slow ride, but I will watch it. 6 .
Parental Rating
I am not sure how I would rate this for them. Overall it tells a good important story that my Mom might be more inclined to watch, however, I don't think that she or my dad would as it is really slow. I also don't think that the content appeals to them. However, the swearing is limited the action is limited. So Dad approved, Mom rejected based on the criteria.
